The Perfect Fairytale

Author's note: What you are going to be reading about is a excellent story about a fairytale.

Have you ever wished that you could listen to your parents and not make them mad? Well in this book, Ella Enchanted that’s what pretty much happens to Ella. It starts out with Ella as a little baby, crying non-stop and just in time her fairy godmother Lucinda pays a visit. Just when Ella would not stop crying her fairy godmother comes and visits them. Since she is a fairy godmother she can give a magical gift to her. Lucinda's gift to Ella was the gift of obedience. From now on Ella can not say No to a command because of her fairy godmother’s “gift.”

If I were in Ella’s position of having the gift of obedience I would not be able to survive with everyone telling me commands and having to do everything they command. Think about this if someone that hated your guts so much and they knew about your “gift” (curse) they could really use that against you! For example if you made fun of them or they were trying to act all cool and they say something such as “I command you to cut off your head immediately.” Your life would end instantly. I would be in danger at all times every single day. Now you and I know how Ella feels.

Ella’s life is pretty much in a very dangerous place at all times because of her gift. Think about this if someone told you to stay right where you are and say you were standing in the middle of the road for some reason and a car was coming and you were stuck in the middle of the road and it could run over you if it didn’t stop! Honestly I would hate to be Ella or even be in her position.
Personally in conclusion I like the book better because I can visualize it and I feel like it has more vivid language. Also in comparison to the movie I think that there are more things added to the book that makes the book more fascinating. In the movie they have cool objects but there is more facts more life in it.
